Fun? Fun!
August 4, 2007What a day at Bishan for our group (Hema, Lava, Yani, Yana, Nisha, Yogess, Roliah, Ivan, Shaun & myself). Sales to me was great, but may not be good for Mrs Guna. LOL. At least we did try to convince people to buy things that are well, too ‘young’ for them. I think if the organizer were to hold this kind of fund raising projects in the future, they should first think of their consumers’ target. I mean, the things they produced for us to sell was not really suited for adults, maybe the Post-It pads is – maybe.
But also can’t put the blame to them totally, its partly our fault – or it it my fault? Lol, because I really shy when into this kind of things. I can’t really communicate with strangers, and I will confirm stammer. Plus I think I spoke too slow, so slow that they walked away even before I want to explain to them. Haha!
Most of the people looks unfriendly, but there are also big hearts out there! Our group met a lady who bought all the 6 different coloured lanyards and a few kind souls who bought all 3 different items each. So it wasn’t that bad either. Well, at least we helped – for a good cause.

Bowen had her Water Festival today. As we know only Thailand has such a festival, but you know, our group sort of became Thais? Haha! After that, there is a showdown between two girls.
